What it checks
Enter the URL of a page, for example the listing you got on a directory. The tool downloads the HTML once and reads every <a href>. Each link is labelled from its rel attribute, and a page-level <meta name="robots" content="nofollow"> is applied to all of them.

How to read the results
- Filter to external links first: those are the ones that point away from the page.
- Find your own domain in the list. If it is dofollow, the page can pass equity to you; nofollow, ugc or sponsored means mostly referral traffic.
- Links injected by JavaScript are not visible, because the tool reads the HTML the server returns, as most crawlers do.
- Up to 500 links are listed; the count tells you how many more there were.

FAQ
What does dofollow mean?
"Dofollow" is not an HTML value. It is the informal name for a link without nofollow, ugc or sponsored in its rel attribute.
Does Google ignore nofollow links?
Since 2019 Google treats nofollow, ugc and sponsored as hints rather than strict directives. They can still pass some signals, but you should not count on it.
Why does my link not appear?
It is probably added by JavaScript after load, or the page requires a login. The checker sees what an unauthenticated crawler gets in the HTML.
Is a nofollow backlink worthless?
No. It can bring referral traffic and brand mentions, and a natural profile contains both kinds. Directories in the LinkPing library are labelled with what we observed.
Can I check any URL?
Public http and https pages only. Private network addresses, ports other than 80/443 and URLs with credentials are refused.
